I didn't bring anything for lunch so I ran to Wendy's because they had a $2.99 value meal BUT they don't have it anymore so I ended up spending a lot more (that is what not planning does!) for a burger, fries, and coke ($6.45).
After work I went to get a massage because I had a gift certificate from a friend. AHHH! SO nice! Then I ran to HEB and got a few groceries. Trying to get more fruits and veggies in this week.
I laid on the couch the rest of the night and also threw some food in the crock pot for lunches! It was SO nice to do nothing! I ate:
Half a lb of grapes - $0.50
Half a lb of grapes - $0.50
Two HEB lean fully cooked hamburger patties - Free (Remember I had that coupon!)
Can of corn - $0.56
Monday's Total: $8.54
Total Spent in 20 Days: $104.43 (Avg of $5.22 a day)
Total Remaining: $102.57
*** Hunger Fact ***
"In the United States, according to the USDA, 27 percent of all the food produced each year is lost at the retail, consumer, and food service levels. That turns out to be about nearly 1.5 tons of food per year for every man, woman, and child in the United States who faces hunger. To put it another way, in the U.S. we throw away about 263,013,699 pounds of food a day... every single day! And much of what is wasted actually is just surplus food. It is perfectly edible." Source
